Lavender & Pistachio Vegan Chocolate Bites

The base of this recipe has been utilised over and over again in my kitchen with different flavours to match whatever food I may be dishing up for my family and friends on the day.


Vegan, Vegetarian or Carnivore, it honestly does matter because they are always the first to be snatched up when there's a smorgasbord of treats.







Adding Lavender essential oil bring a unique flavour to the recipe but also bring the marital benefits that come along with a stunning plant.

Lavender is used for its amazing ability in calming and soothing the both and mind. It can relieve stress and anxiety, relax the mind for sleep and support the immune system.





RECIPE


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cacao butter

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil

  • 1 cup cacao powder

  • 1 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 vanilla bean flesh

  • 7 drops doTERRA lavender

  • pink sea salt

Method

  • Add cacao butter, coconut oil, cacao powder, salt, vanilla and maple syrup to a small saucepan and put on the stove over low heat.

  • continuously stir or approx 2 minutes or until completely emulsified.

  • turn off the heat and add the lavender oil, stir once more to combine.

  • If you have moulds divide your pistachio up evenly into each mould.
