Doggie Nourishing Balm

RECIPE

Makes 8-10 balms

TIPS
This balm can be used safely on both pets and your family members for soothing cracked lips, dermatitis, baby rash and other mild skin irritations.
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp Beeswax
1 tbsp almond oil
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp shea butter
15 drop vitamin E oil
7 lavender oil
7 Frankincense oil
PREPERATION
Measure out all your Ingredients and have at the ready.
Have your containers or lip balm tubes set ready to pour in your balm mix
Fill a medium size pot halfway with water, bring to the boil and top with a metal or a heat safe glass bowl
Add beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil into your double boiler (bowl over boiling water)
Melt the butters and waxes over low heat in your double boiler
Once completely combined add in your almond oil and remove from the heat.
While the mix is still hot and liquid add in the Vitamin E and essential oils
Pour into lip balm tubes or containers and set aside for up to 3 hour to cool and set.
