Doggie Nourishing Balm

Makes 8-10 balms




 

TIPS

  • This balm can be used safely on both pets and your family members for soothing cracked lips, dermatitis, baby rash and other mild skin irritations.







 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp Beeswax

  • 1 tbsp almond oil

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp shea butter

  • 15 drop vitamin E oil

  • 7 lavender oil

  • 7 Frankincense oil


PREPERATION


  • Measure out all your Ingredients and have at the ready.

  • Have your containers or lip balm tubes set ready to pour in your balm mix

  • Fill a medium size pot halfway with water, bring to the boil and top with a metal or a heat safe glass bowl

  • Add beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil into your double boiler (bowl over boiling water)

  • Melt the butters and waxes over low heat in your double boiler

  • Once completely combined add in your almond oil and remove from the heat.

  • While the mix is still hot and liquid add in the Vitamin E and essential oils

  • Pour into lip balm tubes or containers and set aside for up to 3 hour to cool and set.
